What is the difference between a Garmin 350 and a Garmin 255?

I got a Garmin for christmas from my wife. Coincidentally I got a Garmin for her too. We do not need 2 of them, and we are debating on which one to keep. Which one is better? The 255 or the 350?

Keep the 255. It's a newer model, and it comes with a bunch of improvements. I think that the 2 biggest improvements are:

Garmin shares are trading higher Wednesday morning on much-better-than-expected results for the first quarter .

The maker of GPS-based navigation systems reported Q1 revenue of $508 million, up 13% from a year ago, and dramatically ahead of the Street consensus at $413.4 million. Pro forma profits of 43 cents a share likewise came in well ahead of the Street at 33 cents.

The company reported revenue gains of 20% in the auto/mobile segment, 12% in outdoors, 30% in fitness, 24% in marine and 5% in aviation. The company saw 15% growth in North America, 18% in Europe and 34% in Asia.
