i have a pair of panasonic cordless house phones. which are reading: Ringer off. How do i get the Ringer back?

My cordless phones are reading "Ringer off" how do i get ringer back on ??

I think you got a Panasonic with a 2 or 3 line LCD display on handset. These handsets should have a MENU key or similar key like SETTING. Press this button then scroll the menu using the up or down arrow key. Look for the phone setting menu or similar

Cordless phone cradles look innocuous enough (!) but even they draw power all the time, whether the cordless phone is on them or not! Unplug them ...
